The Guitars

I have been building "short scale guitars" for over 20 years now.
Here are a few of my guitars.
Padauk
Macassar Ebony
12 String that tunes from both ends. 6 at the head and 6 at the bottom making it shorter and well balanced. Spalted Tiger Maple with light weight Alder middle and Red Oak Back and a 24 inch scale
Travel Guitars
Mahogany Telecaster (Gibson Scale 24.75 inch)
I call this my "Banjo" Guitar / High D inplace of Low E
Compact 32 inches long / 22.5 inch scale
One of my favorites. A short scale (22.75 Inch) 12 string of Macassar Ebony (book matched) and light weight Alder.
Quilted Maple Travel Guitar
Spalted Tiger Maple and light weight Alder Body

Stereo 12 String 22.5 inch scale
Body Modeled after Old School Gibson SG

Rustic Guitar Carved from a single slab of Canadian Spruce dried to 10% then finished with tung oil varnish and natural shellac / 22.5 inch scale
On all my guitars I use machine screws (not wood screws) so they can break down easily to fit in a carry on bag ... and a "true" joint for the neck
